The Illinois Center for Autism is seeking a Paraprofessional (Teacher’s Aide or Assistant.)

Minimum Requirements include:

  • High school diploma/GED with education recognized.

The minimum starting pay for this position is $20.78 per hour

The Illinois Center for Autism is seeking a Program Secretary/Receptionist.

Minimum Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalency
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office including Word and Excel

The hourly wage for this positon is $19.07

The Illinois Center for Autism is seeking a full time Speech and Language Pathologist

Minimum Requirements include:

  • Master’s Degree in Speech/Language Pathology, MS-CCC required. CFY supervision available.
  • This position requires Illinois state licensure/certification in Speech/Language.

The starting salary for this positon is $75,888

The Illinois Center for Autism is seeking a Special Education Teacher.

Minimum Requirements include:

  • LBS1 license issued by the State of Illinois.

The minimum starting salary is $65,718 annually with experience and education recognized.

The Illinois Center for Autism is seeking a full time Direct Support Professional.

Minimum Requirements include:

  • Assist in conducting daily activities with adult clients as directed. Implement behavior management guidelines as described in IEP/ISP’s.
  • Encourage student/adult client independence in areas such as social skills, personal management skills, community activities, job readiness, communication skills
  • Complete documentation as designated.
  • Assume responsibility for overall maintenance/housekeeping tasks required on a daily basis
  • Preference will be given to individuals that are Direct Support Professionals (DSP) Certified.
  • Possess a valid driver’s license for a minimum of three (3) consecutive years prior to review date that has not been suspended, cancelled, or revoked.

The hourly wage for this positon is $19.07

The Illinois Center for Autism is seeking a full time Kitchen Business Assistant position.

Minimum Requirements include:

  • Minimum of high school diplomas/GED
  • Must be 21 years of age
  • Must possess a valid driver’s license for a minimum of three (3) consecutive years prior to review date that has not been suspended, cancelled, or revoked
  • Food Protection Manager, Food Allergen Awareness Training, and e-food handler certifications are required
  • CPR/First Aid Certification preferred

Additional Responsibilities:

The Kitchen Assistant will assist in training students and adult clients with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) in all job related skills. Must be able to perform cash register operations, receiving and making purchases, creating monthly menus, food preparations and food deliveries. Completing and inputting monthly inventory, generating inventory reports, Must function as a substitute Chef, Catering Manager, or Vocational Trainer when needed. Must be familiar with regulatory requirements of the commercial food industry.

*Overtime when necessary as determined by the Vocational Services Director.
